why neocities
okay so i was introduced to html when i was probably around 8 or 9, cus my dad was trying to get me into it since he does IT stuff for work. it kinda just started with him teaching me little simple things on a local file, and i would make up "websites" just showing my interests and family and friends and stuff. i then kinda lost interest in it for a while until around 4ish years ago i made a spacehey account, and learnt css styling to decorate my layout. that kinda sent me down a rabbit hole of learning about 2000s web and stuff, and so eventually i stumbled across neocities and decided i wanted to finally get back into coding as it is something that i actually really enjoy. i love the endless customisation that comes with html, and i love how this site is like my secret outlet kinda thing that random people have the POTENTIAL to look at. idk maybe its dumb but i just like putting things out there without the intent of anyone else seeing it lol

i LOVE music especially physical forms of it like cds, vinyl, casette, minidisc ect ect all of it i love it. owning music and being able to hold it in your hands is like the coolest thing ever imo. if i listed every band or artist that i listened to, this'd be a very long box, so ill probably link my record collection or music blog when i start working on that (yellow thumbs up emoji) my spacehey also has a long list of bands i enjoy if you wanted to check that out :)

so i mainly play guitar, bass and flute, however i do sometimes play keyboard for fun, and i can TECHNICALLY play drums just not very well lol.
i currently play in 3 bands: one for school, one for tafe and one outside of both of those things. i play guitar for my school band,
and theres also a bassist and a drummer. we are pretty much just preparing for school performances, but the band itself is mostly
for fun. my tafe ensemble is something im required to do to get my cert, as im studying a certificate iv in music this year. the last
band is probably the most important one as of current, its called 'sunday, i disappear' and i play bass. we are like alt-rock or something,
but the frontman lead singer guy wants to lean more into the psychedelic rock/shoegaze kinda ting which im very excited for. i believe
we are going to start working on music soon? so yk thats pretty cool
i also used to take guitar and piano lessons but had to stop due to some issues, but i have been consistantly having flute lessons for 5
years now B)
